What we Offer
Children Lead The Way is a beautiful, safe and enclosed forest school charitable community company set up by two lifelong friends on a voluntary basis. During the spring to autumn months we are located on a working dairy farm situated at Tredington House Farm, GL20 7BU with free onsite parking. We are run by a friendly, outstanding team with a wealth of experience at raising and teaching children who are neurodiverse as well as therapeutic forestry outdoor learning. We understand the importance of playgrounds in nature that gives children all the developmental opportunities they need to learn outside of the typical primary school route. We are 100% self-directed learning; embracing child led play wholeheartedly.
At the moment we are welcoming children who are home educated, flexi schooling and with additional needs aged 4-12 years for a 2 hour session every Tuesday 10am-12pm in attendance with a parent or carer.
Our purpose built outdoor session has all the opportunities for children to connect with each other and lead their play in a fun, adventurous and magical way. Enjoy the benefits of exceptional opportunities for sensory play, bouncing, swinging, climbing, creative arts and music making. Plus much more.
Please note we currently have not got full accessibility at site with some uneven ground. We created the site from it’s original beginnings as a wild forest in June 2024. We aim to be fully inclusive service in the future with wheelchair access. Feel free to email us about accessibility needs.
The company is managed 100% on a voluntary basis alongside full time caring responsibilities for our children. We will do our best to respond to queries as quickly as possible.
